AgriBusiness
Cass County is known for agri-business. We are strong in rural development with an incubator-without-walls model that gives large businesses the opportunity to benefit from partnering with entrepreneurs.
As described in the Kansas City Business Journal:
Cass County is currently developing a plan to use biofuels grown in nearby fields and to sell byproducts of the process to industrial and agricultural customers, and to local entrepreneurs looking to establish a network of interlinked business, such as greenhouses and fish farms.
Eco-business and agri-business developments, specifically focused on renewable energy initiatives, are driving forces in our community.
