Gary Mallory was instrumental in establishing the Cass County Corporation of Economic Development (CCCED) to serve as a recognized catalyst for economic development in the region. In 2007, Mallory was elected to serve as Chair of the Mid America Regional Council Board of Directors. He served as 1st Vice Chair for two years of those years and served on the board’s Budget and Personnel Committee. He also was Chair of the Kansas City Area on Aging for several years. He served as Chair of the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority for two years and eight years as the Vice Chair of the Little Blue Valley Sewer District. Mallory has spent much of his life as a public servant in Cass County through his roles as Cass County Presiding Commissioner, Cass County Clerk and 10 years as Mayor of Belton. Mallory recently founded Governmental Professional Management Services LLC to assist clients with community development and planning in our region.

Mayor of the City of Harrisonville
As Vice Chair of Cass County Corporation of Economic Development and recently re-elected Mayor of Harrisonville, Kevin Wood brings a wide breadth of experience including, but not limited to, historic preservation, philanthropy, senior services and community development. 
Wood has served Cass County and the region in the following roles: Member of Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce; Past Board Member Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce; Past Chair of the Chamber of Commerce Promotions Committee; Past President of Cass County Historical Society/Current Board Member; Past Vice President Harrisonville United Way; Bi-County United Way: Past Chairman of the  Board; Past Board of Director United Way of Greater Kansas City; Missouri Municipal League Past President and Current Board Member;Freedoms Frontier National Heritage District Board Member; Past Advisory Board Member Kendalwood Home Health; Past Advisory Board Member Cass Career Center Nursing Program; Past Advisory Board member Mid-Central Sysco Medical Supply; Appointed Member of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging

Mayor of the City of Pleasant Hill
Terry C. Wilson serves the CCCED as a strong advocate for tourism and enhancing the quality of life in Cass County. Wilson is a life long resident of Cass County and has served on the Pleasant Hill City Council and off and on as Mayor of Pleasant Hill since 1976. 

Wilson's home community of Pleasant Hill is the home of the Cass County Fair and will soon be a Katy Trail tourism destination. Wilson brings expertise in downtown revitalization and fostering home-grown industry to the CCCED.

Currently, Wilson is active with several City organizations, as well as, serving as the Chairman of the Congregation of Our Savior Lutheran Church, and on the Cass County Fair Board.

Mayor of the City of Peculiar
Ernie Jungmeyer is a long standing member of the CCCED Executive Board bringing private industry knowledge of civil engineering in the highway and heavy construction fields. Jungmeyer is currently serving his second term as Mayor of Peculiar. Jungmeyer has also served as an Alderman and Chairman of the Zoning and Planning Commission for five years. His lifelong commitment to community development combined with 38 years of civil engineering make Mayor Jungmeyer a vital asset for economic development in Cass County.

Juan Alonzo served as Chairman of the CCCED Executive Board in 2010 and as Vice Chair in 2009. In addition to his commitment to fostering economic development in Cass County, Juan Alonzo has served the citizens of Raymore as Mayor for nearly a decade and is very active as a community leader in multiple arenas including: Mid-American Regional Council (MARC):Regional Homeland Security Committee;Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation;Hope Haven of Cass County (2005 – 2009, 2010 Present);Raymore / Belton Interchange Transportation Development District (Chair);Greater Kansas City United Way, Operating Board, Eastern Jackson and Cass Counties;Kansas City Area Mayor’s Caucus; Little Blue Valley Sewer District Board of Trustees (Vice Chair);Mayor’s Advisory Board for the Little Blue Valley Sewer District;Middle Big Creek Sewer District, Advisory Board (Chairman);Research Belton Hospital, Board of Trustees; Raymore Planning and Zoning Commission;Cass County League of Cities (Vice President 2003-2007);City Taskforce for Road Excise Tax program (1999-2000);City Hall Complex Exploratory Committee (Chair 2001)
